Woodland Veterinary Clinic — established 2023Danielle Larsen, DVMOwner & veterinarian

Meet Dr. Larsen

Rooted in Beacon Falls.

Dr. Larsen’s path to veterinary medicine began with a seventh-grade school assignment and grew through years working as a kennel attendant and veterinary assistant. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from UConn in 2008 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2012.

After returning to Connecticut as a small-animal general practitioner, she established Woodland Veterinary Clinic in her hometown of Beacon Falls in 2023. She values the variety of general practice and continues to pursue education across veterinary medicine and surgery.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Larsen enjoys gardening, cooking, and painting, and lives with her husband Chris, their two children, and pets.
